New to Burning Man
My husband and I are going to Burning man 2018 for the first time.! We are extremely pumpped. We are looking for open minded people. We wanted to know if anyone had any tips or wanted to chat.?? Hope to hear from you.peace, love.

. . . We've got tons of tips. I recommend the Event Preparation forum and its sub-forums the most:

And to start by making a list (I make mine in Word with "insert table"; 4 columns including 2 narrow ones just for checkmarks, many rows; others prefer Excel). Google "Burning Man pack list" for many, many examples. You will eventually make it very customized toward yourself.
If you're searching ePlaya and struggle to find what you're looking for, Google your search term with eplaya after your keywords, and you'll almost certainly find that the topic is covered.
If you ever get stuck, we like to help with the hard questions especially, but being grizzled old-playa-mariners can make for snarky comments now and again, so look out!

Meet your regional burning man group in person - they have great info equal or exceeding ePlaya. If you put your city in your profile, you might meet people that way.
