Well, I've completed my holiday visiting for now. All things considered, everyone seems to be in pretty good shape in my neck of the woods.
Time for a drink.

It seems to me that the process and decisions that need to be made for the burn are happening in a very timely manner this year, or am I just two steps behind.

Anyhow, I'm hoping to actually make it out onto the playa this year. I have some ducks to get in a row to make it happen though. I ended up using a bunch of my ducks to no avail last year. Hopefully some of you other knuckleheads who couldn't make it last year will also be able to get out there this time around. Woohoo! Time will tell.

You know what I haven't seen yet.. the 2018 design for the 'man'. Has that been released? Perhaps they have an I,Robot man up their sleeve, or then again, perhaps something else. I always enjoy seeing what they come up with; Cargo Cult still being my favorite so far.

Meanwhile, in local news, we're heading into a cold snap here, low single digits at night. Time to bundle up a little tighter.

When the Great Actor retired from his final role as mouthpiece for The Republican Party Agenda, 18 of men he had helped enrich got together and bought him a stately house in the snazzy Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The address of the house was 666 St Cloud Rd.
Alas, somebody noticed, and they had it officially changed to 668. Darn.
