Good morning campers. Well, now that the holidays are behind us it's time for serious planning. Don't worry. You don't have to actually do anything. Just think about stuff.

1. Sew a new cover for the shade structure.

2. Drill holes through the manikins so they fit over the uprights.

3.Wash the cushion covers and stuffed animals for the cuddle puddle.

OK. That's enough thinking. Now for the drinking.

Locally, we've had a couple warm days, but headed back to 0° at night within the next few days. Brrr...

Sometime soon I need to give serious thought to what art I want to create and bring out to the playa if I make it out this year. I have a garage full of potential robot type stuff that could be fun, but most of it is relatively heavy, and the space and weight of hauling things over that distance remains a bottleneck for me. Certainly fun to think about though.

Hey Peeps! Thought I would drop in and say hey. Next round on me, order up..... Didn't know where to post this so move it if needed. It's completely off topic.

I'm in the middle of Dune season and have been rippin up the sand since late October. Even setup the EMT structure for Turkey Day dinner on the sand.

Being a motorhead I have been following the two desert races in Africa (Dakar Rally) and South America (AfricaEcoRace) that run this time of year. In the Dakar Rally in Africa there is a motorcycle racer I have been following, #100, Lyndon Poskitt of GB. He has a YT channel and posts daily of his adventure racing Dakar. Anyway, they have long, hundreds of miles long "liaison sections". These are the stretches, usually public roads, but not always, between 'Special Stages". The Special Stages are the timed portion of the race.

So before or after the Special Stages one will have a long ride on the Liaison Stages. Many listen to tunes during this time. I mansplained all this,..... to show you this...... thought everyone would enjoy it!



Now I need to see if he is going to BM this year, (don't even know if he has been) If he is, try to hook up with him, and see if I can get on his team for Dakar next year. I've done Baja 1000, 500, Mint 400, Vegas to Reno. Dakar would be awsome to participate in.

Hi EGAZ... will you be going to Saguaro Man this year? The last 2 years were kind'a chilly, to say the least, but it's been moved a bit forward into (maybe) better weather for this year. May 10 to 13, (my birthday being the 11th!)
I'm not a motorhead, but I love riding my cool VW trike. (not yer average VW)

I've already been able to purchase my ticket as a volunteer, but general tix will be available on 1 Feb., in limied supply. I'd recommend getting the tix ASAP, as there will be only 800 available, and over 1,000 attended last year.

The last two years were cold, windy, rainy. sleety, snowy... and at the end of April. This year it's 2 weeks later, and will hopefully make the difference for much better weather. All the other years that I've been to Saguaro Man have had ideal weather... beautiful sunny and warm days with comfortably cool nights. Hoping to see you there!
