Pix of a Fire Flogging?

Post by cedarwind » Sun Oct 10, 2004 11:34 am

I am looking for anyone who happened to take pictures of my fire flogging. It was Wed. night at the GLOM's bondage wall (5:00 and Esplanade). I know there are pix out there! lots of flashes without permission... i just ask that you share. [email protected] or [email protected]

I was at the GLOM Wednesday night when a woman was given a most thorough fire flogging (she wouldn't have had it any other way). Halfway through it she was, quite literally, smokin'. It was truly an amazing performance and one of the most unforgettable things I've ever seen at BM.

I didn't have a camera, but if you're the guy in the top hat, I'd like to say thanks.

Actually, I was the one on the receiving end! I was just hoping somebody caught it on film... Glad to hear that you enjoyed the show!

You, cedarwind, are a crazy woman. I'd never seen someone whipped before, much less with a flaming whip. That was unbelievable. Just so ya' know, I talked to the guy with the top hat (and flaming whip) afterwards at the GLOM bar: he was really impressed by you... As was everyone who was lucky enough to have been there.

The Doubble E ticket Ride

Isn't that what you called it?

My friend Guinivere told me you were looking for some pictures of that lovely moment in time.

Well guess what...

I have pictures of you!

I was sure that you would want them someday, so I shot quite a few. It is truly one of my most vivid memories from a very volitile year for me at BurningMan.

A few of them are downright priceless, really outstanding, most are a little dark and obscure, yet meaningful in their own way.

Let me just say that I'm not entirely sure what a fire flogging IS, so if anyone wants to educate me I'd be interested to know. Oh, and a picture is worth a thousand words. ;-)

Fire-play
Imagine a small, brief flash of fire across your back, or down your leg or arm. Sudden, intense heat, that is gone just as quickly as it arrived. Fire play can be blended with other things, like flogging and the violet ray, to create an intense sensory experience.
For fire play, any areas on which play will be done will need to be shaved or waxed as the smell of burned hair is not pleasant. These can be worked into the scene if desired. Tribute is $100/hour (Canadian $125/hour) at present. To ensure safety, fire-play will not be mixed with bondage.

Hi!

Well I'm really excited! In some way I had a feeling we would connect someday.

I will retouch the pictures I have of you and would be happy to email them to you and/or post them, whichever you prefer. As I mentioned many of them are obscured, the lighting was challenging and the action really fast, not to mention the crowd was always shifting etc etc. but I think there are a few that you'll find quite exillerating.
