Hey guys,
I'm a Canadian, currently living in Calgary, and hoping to attend Burning Man this year!
I was initially planning with a friend, but I dont think she can attend anymore. I can't let that stop me as I feel this is the year.
I am starting a new job Monday and hoping for the best re: time off.
I definitely do my best at attempting creativity and am a pretty skilled knitter, can do a decent job at sewing.
I'm looking forward tp getting to know some of you, off and on the Playa.

Hey there, welcome to ePlaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

You and ePlaya user VultureChow might enjoy each other's work. She once knitted a portion of the trash fence, including the (knitted) debris one would find in it.
Yes--definitely come even if you have to make friends there, or along the way. If most of us had waited for our friends to be ready, we'd never have gone at all.
I see there is a burner presence in Calgary, although you'll need to Google them and check FB.

Where can I find this work? I think I'm going to do some sort of funky yarn bomb on my bike.
