I tried again and just got tickets

wow, finally got in but kept getting "sold out" and only allowed to get vehicle pass but I kept on refreshing and had three windows opened, so I decided to try to only get a ticket and worry about vehicle pass later and that worked, now I need a vehicle pass ... wonder how difficult that will be to get?! (Now I try to log in and it says my promo code was used.)

Scamming codes does happen, you'd be surprised at how many people post screen caps or share copies of an email without thinking about the implications. I should imagine though, that the people who pull that stunt run into another obstacle down the road. At some point after the sale, Burning Man will go through the lists to ensure that the info on the order matches the info on the Burner Profile. If things don't match up, that sale may be canceled and the tickets would be added to either the STEP or OMG sale supplies.

Given the frustrations that happen from this every year, I really wonder why the process hasn't shifted to just determining which registered profiles get to buy in what order once registration is closed, and just sending them an email good for 24 hours before the offer is rescinded and the next on the list gets it.

So - some stats for geeks.
This little guy is taking steps 1/8th of on inch (on my screen)- I measured, at a pace of one step a second. He has walked only 450 feet since I Started this. I am not impressed.

One of my campmates just finally got through... initially it showed a vehicle pass, but something errored out and upon return there wasn't anything available. It's disappointing, but I'm confident that she and her partner will find what they need with time to spare.

Remember, stay tuned (and please do not post threads seeking tickets at this time). As soon as we're able, we will get ticket boards opened up - stay tuned for announcements.

I hope that happens and that the person who posted it will complain that they were unable to buy tickets because of this. They aren't very explicit about the fact that the promo code that they give you at the end of the queue is the same one that you get in your email at the end of the personalized link. I'm not sure I that I put it together until today. I could see how a lot of people could think they are getting a spontaneously generated code instead of a pre-existing one from their email.

Yeah, that was crazy ... tried getting ticket + vehicle pass but continued to show tickets sold out. Not sure if I refreshed and finally got into sale again or if it was because I had multiple windows opened but eventually got the sale again (for like the 4th attempt) and thought I'd just try to get a ticket and it worked, now I need a vehicle pass. Took me until around 12:33 to get ticket

pff intense! But we got got 4 tickets and are with a group of 5. Let me know when someone had a spare ticket for a super cool burner group form Amsterdam.

Now when I got thru a screen popped up and asked me to confirm that I got in line @ 12:37, then dumped me out and showed me tickets were sold out, again. Very strange indeed. I was through the line @ 12:32, and got back in line around 1

Had a glitch too...
I was logged into ticket fly and waiting in line, then got the you are being redirected and then sent to the original login asking for the promo code..... had to retrieve it and enter it and then no tickets left..... so much for the HMI....

I wasn’t able to get two tickets in the sale but I’m not giving up. I noticed a thread from last year for people looking for tickets but it’s been locked.

Strangely enough I’m not even bummed that I didn’t get tickets in the sale. I keep thinking this challenge is just part of my journey to Burning Man.

We got two tickets for four of us. I would like to try STEP, but am curious if the donor level ($1200) tickets are still available if STEP does not pan out. (OMG just seems like wishful thinking)
