Total Virgin!

Post by JK76 » Mon Apr 02, 2018 12:57 am

Hi all,
I'm an event designer from Sydney, looking to make my way over to Burning Man this year. I had a wedding and I asked my client to move her wedding so I could go to Burning Man...am I too late to buy tickets and how the heck do I find a very cool camp to hang with?
Any help you can give me would be great. I've registered for my burning man profile - and I guess I've got to hang tight for the next round of ticket sales in July (OMG) or STEP sales.

Any hints or tips for buying tickets?

I appreciate all your help -
TIA xx

Welcome Tia.
The main ticket sale already happened, but there will be other opportunities to get tickets. You might want to check out your local burners group in Australia. Also, take some time to view the links in my signature below. It will give you a great overview as well as preparation for first timers.
With a finite amount of tickets available, you will really have to work hard to make this happen for 2018.
Best of luck with your planning an hopefully we'll see you on the playa this August.
Sham....

Hey there, welcome to ePlaya!
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Welcome JK76! :D

I'd recommend talking to other Aussie burners:
http://regionals.burningman.org

If any of them can't go closer to the event, they'd probably prefer to sell their Will Call tickets to someone they'd met & liked. Always fun to make a friend's day.
