Wait, I don't think that pic you posted was of lake Lahontan... was it Elliot?

Typically the seasonal lake never really gets deeper than a few feet, and I don't think the water would ever get to be a nice and clear if people were mucking about in it.

I KNEW I ought to have put a :wink: there. But didn't think it was necessary. :twisted:

Of course it is NOT the Playa. It is somewhere on Earth -- just a random interweb find.
In fact, if you look at the bottom... it is from the Chronicle, and taken by one Kat Wade.

But this being a pretend bar, it can serve as a pretend view from a fictional building on the north edge of Gerlach, with a hot tub on the roof, looking up the West Playa Highway.

Anyone have a spare 2005 ticket stub? I was sorting my ephemera, and that is the only one I do not have! Yikes. I can't find my 17s either, but I have the Thank You for Your Fire one, so that will do.

My 2014 Thank You For Your Fire ticket was lost in the mail -- absolutely literally lost in the mail... yes, it can still happen.
We are talking... a complete, untorn, unsullied, unwrinkled ticket. Technically unused -- but of course it was issued after the event.
Anyone have a drawer full of them and can spare one? (Relax, Trilo, I am not offering to buy one.)
