I earn one every year from GP&E.
But apparently GP&E uses -- or used -- a separate address list for mailing these out, and my address was not corrected when it should have been. As the result, my 2014 TYFYF disappeared into mail-returning-forwarding purgatory.

Now.... Since not everyone volunteers with a BM department....
The TYFYF is a complete un-torn ticket -- but a souvenir, issued after the event. Where it would normally say "$425" and such, it says "Thank you for your fire". It arrives with a thank you card signed by department leaders.

Obviously, I display mine proudly in my home.

2017 was my first TYFYF - I was not expecting it and pleasantly surprised when I got it.
And thanks to you, Elliot, for showing me the ropes on Perimeter.

Not going to see you guys this year but definitely coming back soon. It's been a great ride!

But I do have a few mementos available for gifting to worthy ePlayans... a 2009 Survival Guide jumped out at me.

I have a pile of plastic envelopes full of maps, survival guides, WWW, and assorted newspapers, and other paper stuff. Enough so I use it to make collages with at times. I even have a couple 2001 passports from the game where you got doubloons.

Blue collar Bob printed those passports. (If they are the ones I'm thinking of.) He's a great source of stories too. It's hard to get any work done when all we do is compare pictures and laugh. Another example of how Burning Man has impacted my life. I'm always drawn to the outside vendors that are burners. .

Hushville has a distressing strip of yellow, right on our camp frontage. We know we went over things well before departure, our remaining camp mate did too later that day, she raked it, and the camp next to us did sweeps on Tuesday too. All we can figure is the wind blew something in which caught in the raked areas, or someone in an RV parked there and left a mess after we had all gone. So frustrating.

since I make my second trip back Wed, to get stuff, I often see as you describe. Someone parks to rest before leaving and packing up their camp. I also see where stuff blows in to an area I know was clean the day before. I've cleaned and raked our area, and come back the next day or two, and there is stuff. I'd say, it's somewhat common?

Soon, the breeze delivered a storm of cigarette butts into our camp.

Before they took their break, I walked over to them and thanked them for something-or-other.
In return, one of them cursed, berated, and ridiculed me for something-or-other.

There are three red spots on G by our camp. They were most certainly not there when I left.

If anyone needs a presale ticket, there are oodles of them for sale. For some unknown reason virtually every ticket offered is a presale ticket. Any ideas?

I've seen one presale say they are not going because of work, and not a one time poster so I tend to believe he's for real. The others? Probably perfectly nice people except they had the time and resources to game the sales. I wish the org would close that fucking loophole.

I looked at my Burner Profile a day or two ago. And there was a button for purchasing $1,200 tickets. As I recall from previous years, the $1,200 tickets may not sell out at all.

With these tickets still available directly from BM, there would be no reason on Earth to buy one from an unknown third party, unless at a substantial discount.
