The chokiest camp on the playa will be returning. Uncle Sticky and his crap attitude are out! Ranger Patronus and Big Ginger are in! Mats, Shade, Jiu Jitsu, Black Belt level instruction, free rolling, beginners welcome to sacrifice their necks and joints to the Grappling Gods. Also, Supple Cougar for your stretching needs. I wanted to come by last year, but I was partying a wee bit too hard. Im gonna have a healthy burn this year, Ill be coming by for some rolls.

Classes are mostly in the gi. We have loaners, but mostly a2 and a3. I'd say about half of the folks at the open mats are no-gi. I suspect that proportion will grow this year.

Camp Settle This Like Men is looking for folks interested in teaching class, preferably Muay Thai or kickboxing. We have mats, shade, a great supportive crew, but most of our team is BJJ focused. Let me know if you're interested.

It would be great to get some mat time in; I'll bring my gi; currently a brown belt and I'm not expecting to get a black belt anytime soon

Several Black Belts, and at least one Brown Belt, have committed to teaching. Classes are in the gi, although there are always people happy to roll no-gi. Just no no-pants training.

We're pretty squared away for instructors now. Are you going to make it this year? BJJ is going to be at 11, and I think Muay Thai is after that.
