I just thought of something to put in my 'Go' bag.

I recently realized that burners keep a 'go' bag that's not for a natural disaster. What if you're asked to tend bar at a steampunk festival 90 miles away? You may overnight in your car afterwards. Or if a friend texts you that they have an extra ticket to the ukulele orchestra. It's 60 miles away in an hour and a half.

Thus, the go bag. Besides the bag I have 3 complete costumes hanging. There's a note on each telling me what shoes and accessories I need to grab.

The car has a small inflatable mattress, blanket, emergency food and water. (And instant coffee sticks in case I find boiling water.)

Also I keep a back pack ready to grab. Just add wallet and keys.

There is no group better prepared to party.

My little travel trailer IS my "go bag" I keep it inside my shop plugged into shore power. It is pre-loaded with clothes, frozen prepared meals, canned goods, and even a few MREs for grins. I can back my truck up, unplug, hitch up, and be out the door in less than 30 minutes.

Since I'm retired, I camp spontaneously. I may wake up in the morning and decide to go somewhere for a day or 30 days.
