Hey friends!
I am searching for a way to fly into Black Rock City this year.
I am a professional pilot in the default world and will be transporting myself to the Reno airport sometime between the 24-25th (dates are somewhat flexable). I fly commercially and have all my ratings and certifications on a variation of aircraft. I am willing to help any operation necessary, as well as help compensate either financally or however is fit (cash, time, flying, ect.)
Thank you!
Peace and blessings,
Shmoo

Re: Flying into BRC
You have multiple questions masquerading and all intertwined as one question.
If you are interested in obtaining/purchasing a seat as a passenger on a flight from the Reno airport to the Black Rock City Airport - Then you need to seek out: Burner Express Air.
If you are interested in volunteering on the playa at the BM airport - Then you need to seek out: Volunteering at the Black Rock City Municipal Airport.
For sure, you need to go to your Burner Profile, check "Airport" as a place that you would like to volunteer and re-submit your profile. This will get you into the airport information loop so that you can ask questions and get answers from folks who know what they are talking about.

Over 100 pilots fly their own personal aircraft to the playa each year.
Any flights that fly in, drop passengers and leave have to be run by Burner Express Air - Dusty Charter.
There is quite a bit of orientation and preapproval needed to fly a personal aircraft into the playa. Start at 88NV - http://airport.burningman.org/. That covers registration, approaches, scenic flights, ground operations and radio frequencies.
There are a whole series of volunteer jobs at the airport covered by https://burningman.org/event/volunteeri ... s/airport/.
You can search the burningman.org site for the airport afterburn reports.
Current target for volunteer Shiftboard to open is June 9. If it is your first year, it's suggested you not overcommit on the hours in volunteering. There is also an airport village where some people camp.
The airport also uses an old-school email system. I don't know if putting airport in your profile automagically subscribes you to that,
The other resource is the high resolution satellite photo from 2017 http://www.gigapan.com/gigapans/207330.
If you are flying yourself, you need to understand density altitude for your aircraft. We lost an experienced Black Rock flyer, Berk, a few years ago. It was not connected to the event, but even experienced, he flew into a canyon and was not able to climb out.

Shmoo,
In re-reading your post, could you be seeking information concerning some type of aircraft seat ridesharing arrangement?
If this is what you are looking for, you might wish to post your need on the BM Rideshare Board and also keep checking to see if someone were to be offering a Ride Share.

In past years, I have seen a number of aircraft seat ridesharing offers made.
