International Burners Welcomed at Hostel
From 2000-2017 we were the lead for Club (Neu) Verboten and each year we actively recruited overseas campers. In return we always seemed to be blessed with campers who contributed to that years effort. In 2018, I and some trusted comrades, (over 40 years experience between the 4 of us ) will begin anew as a first year camp, Hostel, and are hoping to repeat our luck here.
We offer a chance to come along for the first year ride in what is guaranteed to be the only camp of its kind. This will be a small camp for this year and besides set up and tear down plenty of time is foreseen for our campers to explore and enjoy the delights of BRC. No onerous dues or assigned tasks. No kitchen. No bar. Mucho infrastructure and creature comforts (couches).
Being close to the event ( Fallon, Nv) we are ready, willing and able to help with logistics, rides to the playa, bikes, shopping and many other things. If coming from a distance (including the US and Texas) these things are helpful.
More info on the camp at the long neglected and ignored Spark Collaborative as well. Reply or email us from here if interested. Do not use message. I have more than one from previous years still in my out box. Thanks omar

Re: International Burners Welcomed at Hostel
You know we have been posting this sort of thing for years here on Eplaya and Spark. 2018 takes the cake for those who feel a camp is nothing more than a place to stay while visiting Black Rock City.
Here is how we proceed. You ask us for more details on the camp. We in turn ask you if you have a ticket and when are you coming in. Let us know about this and be glad to fill you in on the camp. Little did I know this "grilling" would be an excellent filter for those we would not want in the camp anyway, Fourteen responses to combined recruitment posts. Nine.... count em! ....Nine,,,, failed to ever respond.
So we have added a new requirement. If not prepared to answer two very simple questions please check the internet.

Re: International Burners Welcomed at Hostel
Since you already got in contact through our Spark post, two weeks ago, and did not seem to understand our reply, I will let Token do the rest. Sorry. Thanks. Good luck on the search.
MS,
Joining a camp is NOT EASY.
This is not some resort where you just show up and sign in.
I know I’m going to sound harsh, but you are in over your head (based on all of your posts). You have no clue where you are going and what you have signed up for.
Fly yourself out to the US. Rent a car. Figure out how to drive on the right side of the road. Buy the camping gear, food and water, go.
Camp out in open camping and have a good time meeting new people.
Any other path will be a clusterfuck for a variety of reasons.
