Cheezuz, this stuff smells like the cat box.
Having both a catbox and camomile available I can state unequivocably that you, darling Sensei, are out of your freakin mind.

Good morning.

I have a fresh pot of Caffe' D'Arte Meaning of Life on tap (my favorite brew).

Juke is playing at http://eklund.merseine.nu:8000
It's going to be alright.

There was a saying about Seattle coffee that I remember seeing a long time ago. It went something like "Black as sin, strong as death" Or something to that effect. I'm sure our Seattle friends will set me straight. Anyway, that would be it.
It's going to be alright.

Damn, sorry to hear that GE. Watch the caffeine after noon, that might help. Here's a big cuppa for now.

Do you know the saying I mentioned earlier?
It's going to be alright.

Hm. I like my lattes like I like my blondes: hot, expensive, with lots of air on top. . .

Gimme a bar coffee--or I'll spam you with 100 packets of "instant cappucino."

me too.

I've never heard the saying Sputnik, though I HAVE only been here a little over a year.

As far as watching caffeine after noon... 1) caffeine really doesn't affect me that way, I could drink it right before bed if I wanted to and 2) I haven't had any coffee yet this week... so... yeah. I think I was just too jacked up about a few things... rehearsal, I was overly tired, work stuff, personal stuff... my brain just couldn't let things go. It happens every once in a while. I'm sure i'll get a fine round of sleep tonight...

the thing is, Sput, we take our coffee many different ways - and can be truly anal about all of them.

the real coffee snobs in our midst have certain mini-roasters they prefer (like vivace). There are certain places that are good to go for drip, maybe others for americanos, or mochas, or whatever, depending your taste. seattle coffee slaves tend to hate bad coffee, but late-night-diner-coffee IS in it's own category. and we can order coffee more slickly and confusingly than anyone else in the world.

for all of that, i have a big soft spot for the trucker coffee at the Cannonball truck stop in cannon falls, MN...

there are also the Starbucks automatons. starbucks isn't even good coffee. they burn their beans. NASTY!!!

Rian, I am a coffee snob, I admit it. If I lived in Seattle I would be moreso. I've drank Caffe' D'Arte for about 10 years now. When the shop that carried it here went under I mail ordered for a while until a new place opened. Now I have two that I can get it at, a plus for me since one is close to work and the other close to home. My personal favs are the alderwood roasted variety of espresso, Fabriano.
