Hello, my friends hello.....
Our camp “How bout Meow”, formally known as “Meow or Never”, Formally known as “The Dojo”, Formally known as “Camp Somewhere else”, Formally known as “Trip City”, is looking for a village to join. We previously have been in the village “Black Rock Power Coop” for 6 years but due to technical difficulties beyond our control our entire village of camps did not receive word that the village was dissolved this past fall. Now we are in search of placement within another village and are reaching out to you, to become part of your village, bringing interactive art, fire performance, pleasing design and fun people.
We are a camp of 32 - 36 friends based out of the Tahoe/Truckee area with a proven green moop track record for our camp since the moop map started. We run a well oiled machine during setup, burn week, and breakdown of our camp. As well as being conscientious and considerate neighbors that contribute to our village and neighborhood.
This year we plan on bringing back our Japanese themed Star Pagoda to camp “How ‘Bout Meow” and that is why we are in need of proper placement within a Village. We are looking for power and approx. 60x100’. The power would be to run AC on about 8 trailers and power for the Pagoda and 2 speakers. Power is not necessary but would be amazing.
Included are Moop maps with our camp outlined in blue for the past 5 years, and you will see we are a leave no trace camp. Our actions and ideals coincide with the 10 principals, and we are all doers, as well as fun havers. I hope this finds someone with space in their village that is looking for a new addition of a camp that is in need. Thank you.

Moderator's note: moved to theme camps and villages as that is a better fit.

Over 30 people, with burn experience, and you can’t provide your own logistics?
You may have a good moop track record but don’t you think you’re a little lacking in the self-reliance and responsibility thing?
That little tent doesn’t “need” placement in a village.
And you are asking for a LOT of power.
Doing a camp at Burning Man requires someone to do the non-glamorous logistics, not just the fun showy part. You guys don’t seem to want to be bothered with that.

But you know Captain their village dissolved and nobody told them. Back in the fall.
Be careful. You can spend all your money in there..............................Oriental Visitor

Can you guys set up that camp somewhere in Tahoe/Truckee for the summer? I’ll come up out of the heat of the Valley every weekend !!!
You might want to check out a rental on a diesel tow-behind generator and some distribution gear while there is still time.
That footprint will be a deal killer for any village.
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best and all that do-ocracy Jazz. Good luck!
