oh fuck me to pieces...

this darling, adorable child has developed a brand new noise. It's a happy noise that she emits when she sees a cat, cats being the coolest thing ever in her little book.

We have four fucking cats in this house... you cannot enter a room without there being a cat there already or entering soon after you.

This noise has the volume of an airhorn and is pitched to be just below those sounds that only dogs can hear.

It is skull splitting. I think I'm bleeding behind the eyes.

I'm only very very mildly fucking hungover, Rian, but this infant is exacting any sort of revenge you might dream of upon me.

Oh, we were done around 10, but by then, having been working and whatnot since 7.30am, I was done done done. I went home, typed a couple quick text messages on my phone, and proceeded to try to stay asleep the whole night...

I failed miserably, but it's okay...

I am incredibly jealous, however. You two cats are cool as hell, and I love spending time with you guys. Especially when it involves alcohol! :twisted:

ooh! i know that noise! my little has been doing it for years... after the bleeding behind the eyes, it kind of bores a hole right into the center of the brain...like a drill. a loud, sharp, long, drill. it gets dangerously close to stimulating the psycotic button that lives deep down in there... the one that can make you do terrible, terrible, things...

the only way to make it stop, i have found, is to put her in water. kiddie pool, bath, hose, whatevah.
