Hey there burners - I'm a noob and my best friend was awarded his low income ticket... and here i am green with envy as we tried to get the very first tickets together.

Im just curious what the go is with the OMG sale - anyone have any experience with this?

Chances are a whole lot slimmer in OMG than main sale.
Your best bet is to network like crazy, watch for tickets for sale, and mainly, beware of being scammed! Make sure to read up on avoiding Burning Man ticket scamming.

Most likely way to get tickets now is to fork out the $990 or $1200 for the presale tickets being resold, usually by people who gamed the system and bought them as “insurance” in case they didn’t score regular price tickets. They’ll always have a BS story saying that’s not what’s going on, but somehow the majority of tickets being offered are the presale ones.... you figure that out, right?
Be that as it may, that’s probably gonna be the deal.
