Hi, I hope everyone's pre burn prep is going smoothly. I thought I would jump on here to check things out. I've been Burning every year since 2010, the last year tickets didn't sell out. I bought a ticket online a week before the event. Picked up a shitty pop up trailer for $500 and rolled down with some people I met on a ride share, one of whom I still burn with today. In 2011 I brought a few of my people along and we hosted a bar in general camping. I also volunteered for Rangers but didn't move forward after alpha training. In 2012 we named our bar The Molotov Cocktail. I volunteered with the Seattle Core Project, Tendriall Woods, and worked with GP&E mostly patrolling the city's perimeter.
Since 2013 Molotov has been placed each year in the 3oclock sector. I continued to volunteer with Perimeter in 2013 and 2014. In 2015 I took a year off from volunteering to focus on the camp. Since 2016 I have the amazing opportunity to work with DPW's HEaT department as a Transpo Driver. I have the privilege to arrive in late July to help Build Black Rock City and I don't leave until late September after Strike. It's an amazing experience building the city. I hope by joining this group to have more of a year round connection to the community I love so much. Fuck yur Burn -Stonehenge
