watch it, heli... these gals ( oh, okay... US gals...) are real fond of our toys. it's harder than you think to find one of those guys, and sometimes we have to take care of ourselves.... we HAVE to know that we can take care of ourselves. it goes across the board. we have learned to let go of waiting for Prince Charming to show up and take care of everything. Hell, most of the guys in this generation can't take care of ANYfuckingthing.

it's nothing personal, babe. look at it like letting us have jobs back in the day... yes you can provide for the family, but maybe i WANT to provide for myself...eh?

heli, you're missing the point. this isn't ABOUT men's (or women's) ability or lack thereof to keep up.

I like you and all, but this 'you just haven't found the right one yet' mentality is really harshing my mellow. I HAVE found the right ones... a few of them... and i STILL go back to my toys, regardless. Well, hell... I never really LEAVE my toys, in the first place. Sometimes, it's as simple as "I don't want to have to worry about anyone but myself".

Selfish? Yes. Necessary? Yes.

I'm with Lydia: sometimes, I just don't want to spend the hour(s) doing the multi thing with a partner... sure, it's really great... really is... but sometimes, I just want to get off, man.

Simple as that.

Something else, Heli, we really aren't all that far away from the "Only good orgasism is a vaginal orgasm" freudian nonscence (btw--can we have a "Let's beat up Freud for his ghastly sexual ignorance" event on playa? it's so thematic.) and a lot of women are (rightly) extremely suspicious when people start telling them that there sexual experience isn't good enough for some abstract idiological reason. I'm old enough to have thought I was frigid because the sexual information I recieved was so bad and I just don't like anyone telling me what my experience should be. I wanna figure it out for myself.

Plus, Lydia's right about the cramps and that's a time of the month when the MrFishist tends to tiptoe and I don't know that I want to be close to anyone Not to mention the potential for mess.

I'm with the girls on this one. So, last night, at about 5 a.m. I realized I was not really able to sleep due to a combination of fucked work hours of late and 3/4 of a bottle of bin61 leasingham. I have tried all my other cure alls (though I found out the hard way I was out of tryptophan) so I crawls outta bed to play a little five on one. Now, what was I to do instead, wake my wife and tell her we's got to get it on cuz I think it will help me sleep? Not so much. I have ready access to a beautifull woman but I still enjoys my private time if ya know what I mean.

still couldn't sleep after though
