So, what do all y'all Nevadians think of this so far? Is it working out well for the general citizenry? Any problems or benefits that weren't anticipated?

I’m a recreational user. I don’t have a medical reason. Med patients here jumped to the head of the line at the dispensaries. They sometimes get better prices and can buy more quantity at a time. The dispensaries here all have their own deals that they may run. Tax is 18% but med patients have a lower tax bracket I believe.

Getting your med card isn’t cheap but may offset by the price you pay. The tax over in CA is higher than NV.

We've had rec here in California for just about a month and it's still too early to tell if there are any problems. Was kind of weird to just walk into a store and buy weed off the shelf from a menu like at McDonalds. The prices are a little higher than my regular "guy" but the quality is up there.

I bet those pot store owners are going to be raking in the cash, at least for a while.

After the Burn my BIL, who works doing electronic maintenance for a Ca. Sherrif, and I stopped by a dispensary. Before paying he flipped out his Sherrif Department ID and asked for the "law enforcement discount". They gave it to him!! 10% off.

BTW the dispensary was complaining that they where low on stock because "All the Burners..."

WE have a huge overstock up here in Oregon , oz goes low as 100.00 in the grow shops , my son got some of the blackmarket for 60.00 a oz .

Apparently the Pershing County Sheriff said they will not enforce the state law if you don t have more than one ounce.

BLM does not care about state canabis laws. They will issue federal citations and execute federal arrests.

Burning Man is held on land administered by the BLM.

Just theorizing, BMORG negotiates with BLM and Pershing County which and what law will be enforced in 2018. Check JRS. Pershing County wants to arrest and cite as many burners as possible. Maybe Jeff Sessions has the same arresting and citing aim.

Pershing County approaching and on playa, the majority of citations, are not bound by any rules to cite and arrest. If they do, it is your court expense. Look up quantities that can engage intent to distribute.
