Virgin Burner from Cape Cod!

Hey there!! I’m stoked to be planning my first trip to Burning Man in 2019. I’ll be going solo and I have just a few questions, at the moment anyway.

If there is anyone from the New England area, I’m wondering the best way to get to BRC. Since I’ll be going solo I need to provide all my supplies myself. Should I make that drive from Massachusetts to Nevada or should I fly into Reno and pick up food and water and etc. there?

I’m also on the lookout for a camp to join! I’m super excited about meeting new and interesting and like-minded people!

Welcome. Cape Cod eh? It's wonderful this time of year. What part of the cape are you on?
The drive to Black Rock City will be 5 days or more if you're by yourself. You can fly out of Logan and be in Reno by noon the same day. Pack what you can in two suit cases and you can ship things on the burner truck that leaves from Somerville. You can also buy all the supplies you need in Reno. There is every big box store right in the area.

CB Welcome to ePlaya. I admire anyone that makes a long trip to the desert. Living nearby we bring too much stuff. Living far away you struggle to bring necessities. Read everything you can. You'll hit on different ways to get yourself and a ton of equipment out to the playa.

Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

I’m from the Cape as well and just wandering around looking for others interested in traveling there! Not really sure what this websites about decided to reply.
