Hello from Australia!

My little family and I are very excited about to undertake this big adventure.

It consists of me, Shaan, Erminio and Dan who is 4 🥰

I have been spying on burning man and it’s philosophy for years. Always with the intention to participate “one day”

We have had some very bad news regarding my partners health so it has very much kicked in the “bucket list” must do’s as it’s terminal.

So, finger crossed, we get tickets we can’t wait to meet this new family in 2019.

We are happy to participate and help out with anything basically and can get quite creative with ideas, so we hope to make your time there as memorable and special as this will be for us.

Normally I'd suggest coming without the child the first time to get acclimated, but given the circumstances I can certainly understand why you'd want to make it a family trip.

In addition to the resources Ratty pointed you to, you may want to consider reading up on and camping with Kidsville. It's not a place you can leave a child unattended, but it's really helpful to be among other families who are participating. If nothing else, Dan will have plenty of playmates his age.

Hello and thanks for the helpful information and I actually agree with you but we don’t have that luxury, unfortunately..

I have already looked into Kidsville and it looks like a great option for us. I’m an awesome babysitter so I can help out in that way - among others.

He’s a very well traveled 4 year old, he actually learnt to walk in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean and has done lots of off the beaten track camping, so I’m hoping he acclimate well.

Can I ask, why am I able to find tickets for sale already from commercial ticket sites...?? What is the deal there?

Welcome to the crazy and dusty world of Burning Man.
Tickets don't go on sale for a few months. The date is not known at this time. If you would like to PM me the link for tickets that you're looking at, I can help you figure out what's happening.
