Brilliance is coming up with a great idea. Genius is coming up with great ideas consistently. Brilliant is solving a problem. Genius is finding the solution to many problems. Brilliance is awe, genius is inspiring.

Oh, and The Clash, they have Sandinista.

While one might be tempted to think that Genius and Brilliance are words that describe the same thing, I would think that one is more consistant. A person who is a genius has potential, a berson that is brilliant has demonstrated that potential

Even a dull person can have one or two moments of brilliance. Sometimes it is only a matter of being able to spot the obvious in a field of obscurity or a moment of different perspective.

Brilliance to me is genius in action. The manifestation of it.

Don't have the full details, but an old-time burner who's somehow involved with the petition folks. He may own a bar, but I'm easily confused about people I haven't met.

Bump.

One benefit to the bot attack is that a few worthy threads came back to light. I hope this is one of them.

I went to see him speak at Hopkins when I was living in Baltimore.. standing room only with people OUTSIDE trying to get a listen. I dont think its a popularity thing.. more like a fear of the truth thing.
