I thought the org would release something a bit more than "there is more demand than tickets" response. We could have conducted a stress test on the new system to work out some of the kinks before the official date. I doubt a ticket sale "redo" would be realistic or feasible, but there is a sense that the numbers are off especially in the 5 years I've been following this rodeo. I hope they do a throughout follow-up and explanation of what when wrong.
Hopefully, they can determine which tickets have been bought by bots and removed from the system. I think its time the org look into some cybersecurity support staff, especially around ticket sales, StubHub, etc. I don't think it will ever be fixed completely, but there are some areas where there is room for improvement.
If people never did silly things nothing intelligent would ever get done.
