I was introduced to this remarkable cough medicine supplement at the most recent Burn in a wierd bar that no-one seems to remember at 5th and Earth.

The label means " master hunter" ...I liked that, the company at the bar, and the short amount of time it took me to get fucked up on the stuff....so now it's a religion. That my sister had a wopping bottle of it for Thanksgiving affirmed my addiction to it. (she even had special Jagermeister glasses)

I go for labels....and I like theirs...anybody want some?
Do you eat german hunting sausage with it?

regynalonglank wrote:so listen, girls, and heli too if you have any insight on this one, i have been pretty much boycotting xmas gifts this year other than my holiday disk thing which everyone is getting (except me kid, she's getting a few little things) and that has been all good. but now i am realizing that i am going to be at the ex's mom's for the gift opening thingy...and i am starting to think that i ought to go out and get the obligatory soap and lotions and shit for the ex-in-laws...but i am resentful of that, i can't afford it anyways, and i don't think anyone's going to croak without a freakin scented candle in thier lives...

is it just tacky and wrong to show up with the same thing for everyone?
Fishy (always the first with way to late advise) sez: NO. They're family and you shouldn't have to bankrupt yourself to show you're not bankrupt. Besides self-made gifts are a different catagory. NOw If you'd gotten quezey earlier we might have been able to have Badger send you some Lady Stetson. Way smelly crap.

It'a amazing how such simple things can delight children. And then you see a spoiled american brat whose been destroyed by being a member of a "demographic" instead of a human bean, and you just despair.

I'm the same way... as far as cards I'd rather get... the ecards do the job. that way, I don't have to be a part of the waste problem. Still, nothing quite equals snail mail, really. getting a card in the actual mail from my mommy is nice.... anything other than bills is nice, really.

I would feel better if they were actually written in with some thought, but everyone is in such a rush now that most of the time, they just sign and stamp.

I'm torn, really...

that, and I have really great memories of these cute little boxes and ornaments my gram used to make to reuse the beautiful cards... precious.
dang, I wish I used snail mail. I wrote better letters and shortly after I stopped, I discovered how to make old calender pics into envelopes. That was a nice reuse project.

So, I just spent the last half hour in the back of my store blowing shit up!!!

Woo hoo!!

Okay, okay. it was mostly balloons, with helium, but still, it felt good to say. And I did make more than a few unneccessary 'testers' by filling the balloons so full they would purposely explode the next time anyone or anything touched them. I imagine my ingrates' horror at the sound of something bursting, and then me giggling for a while... the another burst, followed by more giggling...

geekster wrote:I saw something cool at Safeway last night that I think I will take to BRC next year. They had Stagg chili in boxes .. about the size of a kid's juice box, for 69 cents (limit 6 for cardholders). A single serving per box. I like the idea ... less waste and boxes can be burned and they store more compactly, less wasted space than a box of round cans.
That's six per card holder per trip. So hit all you local safeways daily until tuesday. Unless of course, like the fishy, you don't like chili.

Why my dear, Andre' is simply some of the worst 'champagne' in the world. In fact, legally, it's not champagne, because it doesn't come from the famous (and litigious!) Champagne region of France. Furthermore, I've tasted better motor oils; though they do tend to be less carbonated.

Cheers!
Are those motor oils better used or fresh from the bottle?
