Lost Diamond from wedding band

On Saturday night of the man burn I bent my wedding ring and lost the diamond. Was camped at 6:15 D. Packed up the truck and likely bent it then. Went to watch the man burn and sat just to the right of the caution tape along the 6:00 path to the man, when facing the man, about 10 people back from the ranger barrier. Square shape. Hoping it turns up during the sweep or in future years. It is laser engraved with serial number. Did not even notice until I pulled in the driveway and husband asked what happened. Sad to have left unintentional moop behind and even sadder it was this moop. I know it was dumb to wear it. I know things are temporary and that it’s just carbon or whatever but it has great sentimental value to me just the same.

This is truly trying to find a needle in a haystack. This pee sized diamond is covered in dust and on the ground somewhere on the 7 square mile playa.
I hope you get a Burning Man miracle and your diamond is returned. You might want to check your home owners insurance policy to see if a replacement diamond is covered. Most times they are.
