I'm generally in favor of government agencies spreading their budget around by having offices in smaller towns. But given the EIS process, I'd like to see the Winnemucca BLM office moved to Reno.

We should have never gone into Syria in the first place. It was not authorized by Congress and ISIS only has tangential links to al Qaeda, not enough to justify using the 2001 or 2002 AUMF authorities to deploy U.S. armed forces into hostilities.

Syria is a powder keg with several major militaries all operating in close proximity where the chances for an accidental exchange of fire remain incredibly high. Do you think the Syria mission is worth risking a world war or nuclear exchange with Russia? I, for one, don't.

We shouldn't have deployed to Syria then. And we shouldn't be there now.

If we gave a shit about the Kurdish people, we would have prevented Saddam Hussein from ethnically cleansing them at the end of the first Gulf War. If we gave a shit about the Kurds, then we would have granted them a partitioned homeland after the second Gulf War.

Let me be clear, U.S. policymakers don't give a flying fuck about the Kurds.

We shouldn't let our disgust for the current commander-in-chief, nor the false pleas from neo-conservatives to "save the Kurds," get in the way of ending an unauthorized, unconstitutional, and illegal deployment of U.S. armed forces to Syria.

I like Andrew Yang. Seems like a genuine intelligent family man who understands the future of economics regarding AI and robots. Plus, I would love $1,000 a month... it's stupid and devalues currency. But as the robots takeover so many jobs there will be less and less jobs for humans... which is good. We shouldn't really all be slaves to the mighty dollar. And eventually if we play things right it could basically eliminate money completely which would be great for humanity.

But I think Bernie Sanders has the best shot at beating Trump and those debates would be pure gold to watch.
