welcome to philly.

i have yet to attend BM. i just really needed to get connected to the fire-play community.

i'm a full-time grad student as of 8/25/04 (why i couldn't go to BM this year). its kicking my ass!

in fact, i should be reading school stuff instead of playing on the net :-(

let's switch this over to email, ok?

Hi! I have never been to Philadelphia ... but I did stay at Holiday Inn once! Oh, and my sister graduated from Drexel ... wait, I went to her graduation ... so I HAVE been to Philadephia. But I live in California now so this posting is a complete waste of your time and bandwidth.

Well, almost. There is a fairly active regional group there. They have an event in New Castle County, Delaware but you are too late to buy tickets, they are sold out. Maybe you can get one on Craigs List?

It will be my first BM and I live in DC. I would love to know how people usually travel to BRC and any related advice. Thanks!

Hi Y'all
Burner from NJ. I went to both PDF and BM last year for the first time. The regional (PDF) was really cool and I met a lot of great people that I ended up seeing at BRC. It is really worth the $30 for the ticket.
As for getting to BM? Well, last year I drove with my friends, and this year I was thinking of flying to Reno and having them pick me up. Not decided, honestly the idea of another road trip does appeal!!
Let me know if ur going to PDF, I'll make it a point to find u there!
