overhead disc fire pit

i'm trying to find the creator of the a fire pit that was near center camp, in the key hole, during the 2016 burn. the dish, that was the size of a satellite dish, was above the heads of all the people sitting around under it. it was fed propane and because of nature of the gas the fire danced around the disc above the heads of everyone. does anyone know the guy who created it? i'd like to replicate it,

Yep, I still get spellbound looking up at those fire dome dishes. I've seen several at the burn over the past few years. I don't know the specs A-D45, but you can start your research with 'Incendia'. I'd be interested in learning more as well!

If memory serves ... the original inverted flame was done in 2009 as a honoraria installation by Cynthia Washburn and Patrick Shearn.

Ratty, that is illVille (Illumination Village), which is a camp of fire sculpture artists. I love the fire ceiling where one can recline on a circular padded platform and get lost in the beauty of the flames.
