What is disturbing is it brings the cost of targeting to zero. It has the capability of targeting to one person. That means you can broadcast a set of Trump news and lies to the individual which doesn't touch any issues where they might disagree with Trump's policy and action. For instance, there is no need for retirees to hear about cutting retiree programs. (It could cut into FOX and the like ad revenues though)

The other thing which is Orwellian is its similarity to Xuexi Qiangguo, the Xi Thought app in China.

Good point Simon. Now Trump has a private unregulated, unconstrained by law, unauditable, and undiscoverable by LEO channels to them. I doubt the NSA is capable of recording how the app is used. This would actually be a scary screenplay. Progressive talk show host Thom Hartman subscribes to some of the Trump social media and emails to understand their shenanigans.

He probably would like Hoover, father of the Great Depression. Harding is considered a poor president (now surpassed by Trump) elected on a similar to Trump platform, and responsible for the Teapot Dome corruption scandal. He definitely likes Andrew Jackson who defied the Supreme Court and killed all the Native Americans. As for Nixon, Trump is much crazier every day than Nixon at his worst.
