I knew I didn't have a snow balls chance in hell, when it came to attending the main event. I knew this shortly after I started to investigate the ticket requirements. While I hoped I could slam dunk a mutant vehicle. I would still have to transport it coast to coast, and pray it passed inspection. Honestly I just like this forum, and if one day I meet the people on the other side. That would be great.
So...
1). Juplaya tickets are free.
2). Capt Goddammit just happens to sit on the BRC Mutant Vehicle committee and he can tell you what makes (or breaks) a mutie, the selection criteria, rules, etc.
3). There is a cold PBR with your name on it in FOOW CAMP should you decide to claim it.
The excuses for not going are dropping like flies!
Bbuilding a mutant vehicle as a first year project is likely a bad idea. (For that matter, building a mutant vehicle is likely a bad idea anytime. Just ask any builder. Lol).
Just get there and soak it all up. Be a participating tourist. Say “yes” to anything/everything that looks (mostly) non-fatal. You’ll do fine!
