As time passed, I didn’t see anything of night wing.
Until one night sitting alone under my shade structure. A voice behind me ask where he might find a certain black cat.
Without turning around I gave directions to a local camp I thought they would be at....

That’s when the person used my burner name. “Mozy”

I slowly turned around to reveal.
A woodland forest creature from Finland.
I was so excited to see him I Completely
Miss that silent wing was standing right next to him.

Until he used her name.

She looked amazingly amazing.

I’m a big tuff guy but it took all of my Strength to not break into tears.
Seeing them both is one of many amazing memories I have of the burn.

That was the last time I ever saw silent wing and Finland.

To answer the question.
No silent wing was not a lover. She was a friend ....the first to give me unconditional love/friendship here on eplaya.
I miss her

One night sitting around a large fire pit on the esplanade at Burners without Borders I watched the sunrise with my soulmate and some close friends.

A penguin a shirt cocker and a sexy vixen in lingerie also were enjoying the fire with us.
We were playing a game with people who walked to the fire.

The game was introduce your self.
But not by name but by your favorite experience so far at the burn.

We Heard some great story’s.
One was from John. He said that he had been all over the city and his favorite experience was hanging out with us.
I was the only one that knew who John was and he knew I knew. I ask him if it ok to tell everyone who he was ... he gave a nod ok... when I did no one seemed impressed we looked at each other and I shrugged and said “”burning man””
We all laugh drank whiskey and watched the sunrise before he left.

John was John Avila the bassist for Oingo Boingo and is also the bassist for Mutaytor.
John is holding the keyboard in the dead man video.
Another great burner memory!

At some point ultraviolet shows up with a bottle of pinch whiskey. >>>>>>>>>>>>>To be Continued.

MF Bonz:

I may be totally wrong, but I think I'm beginning to "get it". The burn is like the catalyst in our lives that allows us to appreciate the music that IS, the music that ties in with the critical junctures in our lives.

Now there are many who think I'm a few bricks sort of a load, but sometimes it really works for me. In high school, I was an outcast, a hands-off pariah who the kids thought was batshit crazy. I really got off on hiking, camping, and didn't mind being by myself in wilderness areas, of which there are more than a few in eastern Tennessee. I adopted a song in my senior year:

Finding coal swamp fossils in the coal underclay on Pilot Mountain, conularids near Solway adjacent to Melton Hill Lake; giant ostracods near Murfreesboro, trilobites near Waverly - I was at home with a rock hammer and a rucksack. Everything I kept I eventually high-graded to museum quality. But I still had to work. I ended up one summer at Taco Bell, and Met the Johnson twins. I dated one of them, and it led to the adoption of a new song, of all thihgs, by David Naughton (remember the movie "American Werewaolf in London"? Same guy):

It wasn't long after that that I ended up finishing my geology degree.

Now, 30 years later; no regrets.

More on the story later if there's sufficient interest.
Rue Morgue - '08, '09

(lux, veritas, lardum)
Bacon is forever. Veni, vidi, pertudi. (We came, we saw, we DRILLED.) - BRC Div. of Geology 2009-2015
I'm here until the serendipitous synchronicity is ubiquitous.

I think I concur.
I love hearing those stories.
Music can be a soundtrack to our lives. Music has always been a large part of my life.
Great uncles, uncles cousins and a grand father all played.

When I move to Sacramento I was Hired by Mama Cass‘s niece at Bill Graham presents. I Loves her. Last time I saw her I was kicking some kids out of a small club for fighting. I think the last thing she said to me was “”I see you’re making friends again””

We would do Weekly shows with Abstract entertainment. There was a period of time I could watch David letterman or Saturday night live and know whatever band was on there was going to be in my club the next week. Brian had a deal with Sony where he would book the new acts into small venues and get to keep all the gate but not have to pay for bookings.
It was a sweet deal. Lots of great story’s during that time.

All at the same time i was working shows. I was also doing personal private security for some electronica musicians who where playing live at underground music collectives ...one of the collectives built the first dome ever at burning man.
....and I had a dance floor rental company and a small Studio and I was an Insurance underwriter in all 50 states. And delivered pizzas. hmm seems like I’m missing a couple more.
Fuck!!! No wonder I’m so tired.

One thing I do know is every single person you met in life knows something useful you don’t. That’s why it’s important to listen when people tell you what they know.

Take care of your health my megafauna friend we need to hangout in the desert some day.

I still have old records of Magnum Force and Mozy Bonz. Even Mozys reel to reel studio recordings... I can’t post them because they are copyrighted unreleased songs I don’t hold the rights to. But I do still pull some out and play them for friends.
Remember Safety third it’s more fun that way.

G love and special sauce is one of the many bands who came in the club. I was especially impressed with his guitar ...it seems like it was a hollow body fretless with two bass strings and four guitar strings. had a great sound.

Stop posting videos of me!!
I told you that in Secret and you said You wouldn’t tell.
Thought I burned all those tapes. Fuck!!

To clarify ....scientifically I just know where the raw materials our bodies are made from came from.

Don’t get me wrong magical thinking is always fun when you want to make your self feel better. We all do it in some form or another.

No sorry I got nothing when that pinch bottle came out things became very blurry at that point. I’ve vaguely remember some random guy with his head firmly planted on the edge of the firebox. We had a rather difficult time trying to get to go back to the couch that was a few yards behind us. A Cat and some I don’t know seem like some weird contract on a hand fan or something..,

Pinch the how the hell did I wake up on the floor whiskey.

Back to the seriousness of how this story started.

“”Death is never easy. Each person’s journey is unique. Each survivor’s healing process is unique also.””

CF
I love you. We share unspoken secrets.
I have no fear you should know that. One hope I do have is that you have access to A kiln and hot glass to play with.

AM
I have Grief I don’t know how to Express. So if I fall short please forgive me.
I rang a bell and poured some Sea Wynde rum for a sailor lost. That proudly displayed bell still has the same hand braided rope on it.

BNO
I think you know how I feel. To find only then to lose... makes me cry. My hope is that “”Z”” is Looking out for you.

BBD
I’m still here for you. Always have always will be.

Sets A sniper rifle and a diet Pepsi on the table. I could put more things up but I think you get the point.

**Makes eye contact with the reader**
It’s not the answer.
Please don’t.
I mean don’t!!
You Fucking getting me?

Talk to a friend or talk to a doctor or both just talk to somebody. Someone who can intervene before it gets deadly.

If you do survive ...I will come stomp the ever loving fucking shit out of you for trying to be selfish.

Please don’t.
We do/will miss you.
The word is suicide please don’t.

-7 I know you have had a loss recently.

Like some have expressed to me... as in life Along with the journey we call the burn .... things in life can be a roller coaster. I find the key for me is on the bumpy parts ...is to just throw your hands up in the air and go
“”Weeeeeeeee “” ( P. M. Trade Mark)
but that’s just me.
In the desert Like in the default world. Alone or in combination
Diet, dehydration, sleep deprivation and depression can be deadly.... And then you might find that on top of all that you’re not just trying to keep yourself alive but also others who depend on you. it’s OK to ask for help. Especially in the worlds pressure cooker we seem to be in these days.

“”first must take care of head””

.
.
.
.
.reader>>> wait a fucking minute mr. fucking secret squirrel.

I know you. Pretty fucking good as a matter of fact. I think I even still have your telephone number. I didn’t see any fucking Secret Squirrley message for me.

I know.
I’m sorry...

Do you know how hard it is to covertly talk in plan sight!?! ...you may have missed it or I haven’t figured out how to do it yet.

Having said that.

...with a crushing blow my numbers were lost. And because of the number of Robo calls I get ...if you don’t text or leave a message and I don’t recognize the number you get blocked.... immediately.
Give a text a try the number might be correct. If you have tried to call or text with no luck you may have been inadvertently blocked. send a text from a different number so I can unblock you. I have thousands of numbers blocked right now.

So here’s a text message for you.
if you know me.
notice I have no pre-qualifiers in that statement.
I love you I miss you I hope to see you again some day.
.
.
.
One second. ....a difference in timing with a rock would have prevented me from Expressing anything ever again.
**holds up two fingers** Missed me by that much.
To express it in Cat terms and by my count. I shouldn’t have any lives left.
I don’t know how many times somebody has said to me “you should’ve fucking died from that how are you still standing here?”

My recent responses have started to be ...die!! yeah! fuck! ...but when?

It was some long past communication, to pass on some facts and I thought I saw some footwear ...I think I recognized the style. It wasn’t what they said. But what they didn’t say.
That’s what drew me out of the shadows.

Hang tough burners I think see some light at the edge of that dust storm.

Lucky thanks for helping me convey some heart felt messages. Hoping to meet you for real one day ...until then.
errrr.

Now before Token sticks a fire grenade in my pocket. I’ll be slipping back into the shadows again. See you in the dust.

VOTE.

Standing - VNV Nation

Eyes betray the soul and bear its thinking
Beyond words, they say so many things to me
A stranger here, reborn it seems
Awaking wonders deep in me
If nothing's ventured, nothing's gained
So I must seize the day
And fighting time, so hard I pray
That this moment lasts forever
And will the world stay standing still, at least for me
Through my eyes, stare into me
I bear my heart for all to see
With my face turned to the sun, there ever standing still
It wasn't you, it wasn't me, it wasn't anything
It was a day so long awaited and a chance to be as me
I let the wind run through my hands
Before I turned to walk away
In distant days, I long to sense it, all so clear
And fighting time, so hard I pray
That this moment lasts forever
And will the world stay standing still, at least for me
Through my eyes stare into me
I bear my heart for all to see
With my face turned to the sun, there ever standing still
And fighting time, so much I ask
I will this moment last forever
Though seasons change and things come to pass
Remain inside of me
And fighting time, so hard I pray
That this moment lasts forever
And will the world stay standing still, at least for me
I had no faith before that time in any vow or deed
Days followed days and years were meaningless
Despite the wisdom of defeat
I bore my heart for all to see, the wonders I'd seen
The wonders I'd seen
And fighting time, so hard I pray
That this moment lasts forever
And will the world stay standing still, at least for me
Through my eyes stare into me
I bear my heart for all to see
With my face turned to the sun, there ever standing still
And fighting time, so much I ask
I will this moment last forever
Though seasons change and things come to pass
Remain inside of me
And fighting time so hard I pray
That this moment lasts forever
And will the world stay standing still, at least for me

Two days after the end of a 20 year relationship I received a letter letting me know my mother had died. Irony - we had been estranged due to the relationship.

The Watchmen - Fields of the Nephilim

Innocence is hurting
A world speaks out of tune
Promise calls, promise falls
What are we to do, with a clouded view
You follow me through
Sadly the tides are changing
My world slips out of you
Your body falls. My body calls
What are we to do, with a clouded view
You follow me through
My life's turning pages
I see a promised day
Watchmen never age here
They just sleep in vain
Drowning people stare here
They don't care to call, so I rebury the pages
Kthulhu calls
You'll see, you'll see her
When she starts to form
You'll see, you'll see her
When she starts to call
In the name of Jesus Christ
Wont you fear my name
I've been around since Moses
Your preacher never came
You'll see, you'll see her
When she starts to form
You'll see, you'll see her
When she starts to call
Follow me
You sleep, you sleep
Follow me
Its just another day
Remember I am calling for you
Just another day
Remember she's calling for you
Just another day
Kthulhu, I am calling for you
Just another day
An empire has fallen from view
You sleep
You sleep
Follow me
You sleep, you sleep
You cannot follow me
Too long away from Home, and worse for wear.

4 Non Blondes- "What's Going On." Reminds me of my home town. Researched the Firefly event. Found out it was in Bethel Vermont. Shit man, I could think of at least 10 better places to have it. Apparently it sold out in 2019, and went over budget. I'm no one to criticize, but isn't it a non-profit event?
