* cute bartendress wanders in looking dazed, mumbling about LA traffic and her mother...
she stares at faces that seem familiar and comforting, but can't seem to place them.
her hand falls comfortably onto the bar, but doesn't seem to know what to do there...
she slowly sinks onto a barstool, fixes her gaze on the mirror and drools just a little bit... *

I think 1024 is a pretty significant page. Since we are all chatting via base 2 and all.

what goes with that for a drink? a black and tan er something like that?

Fishy needs drink. Fishy needs big fruity drink with lots of floating toys to play with. Fishy need morale boost.

Fishy also wonders when newest eplayan "soxeatsbabies" is going to come in here and start causing trouble.

Wouldn't black and white make more sence? or is this some sort of "Fuzzy Logic" thing?

Oh fishy, here, one for you, one for me {two big fruity tropical drink concoctions with many toys floating about and straws}

I say crabby in the dearest sence.....my own mother is a crab (July 7) as is Sarah June (July 21). I think in all the years I've known my mother, I've seen her go out on new year's exactly twice!

Thanks giggles. I've long since given up on the idea that I will someday have a personality makeover and understand the rest of yous. (The whole whirled--not just eplaya.) It's just that I seem so boring when we start talking parites. (I"m even worse attending them. Wall flower doesn't even begin to get to it.)

Sensei's got dibs on the chocolate and stroopwaffles! You kids can pick through the blinky jewelry, but keep your mitts off the chocolate and stroopwaffles, 'nkay?

And remember kiddies, New Year's Eve is, and has always been, and always will be, amatuer night. Let those wimps have their little one-night-a-year... We'll take the other 364.

Over and out,
Sensei

P.S. I might share the chocolate, but ixnay on the stroopwaffles!

well, I've read about old goats being rather social, and I always want to be, and sometimes I am, but I often get recurrences of the wallflowers (maybe inherited from my mother?) I am readily shy and tongue tied in groups.

Goats until about mid-life tend to be loners and gravitate to small circles of friends. There are exceptions as usual. The typical reason for feeling like loners is the feeling that most people do not understand our dry humor and our different view of the world. I have learned to embrace my lonerness in many ways.
