I'm listening to KWAX, my local classical music station. Better yet, it's a listener-supported college station so no commercials and a lot more variety! They get a lot of really cool, historical recordings, like Rachmaninoff playing his own composition, someone doing a series of Beethoven bagatelles on Beethoven's own forte-piano, lots of Aaron Copland conducting his own pieces...they even make a point to not cut "Invitation to the Dance" off before the "gentleman sees the lady back to her seat" coda. I'm looking forward to the Hallowe'en season because they always play a whole bunch of obscure versions of Saint-Saens' Danse Macabre...should hear the version done on two pipe organs...one word, in-fuckin'-credible...
They're playing the "Lagoon" waltzes by Johann Strauss, Jr. right now.

is there a online burning-man station....
Is there an online burningman radio station for when the BRC doesnt exist. It would be cool if all of us burners could listen to it the rest of the time and build a sense of community. I know SOMAFM is a burningman station but it doesnt really talk about Burning Man. If there isnt one can someone start one.
Keep on burning.
Keep on burning.
