Re: who needs shelter
Think hard about this, it’s often a recipe for disaster.
People who aren’t familiar with RVs almost always waste the water supply and load up the holding tanks, they never understand how limited it is.
There’s plenty of opportunity for other issues, but that’s pretty much the first and most common one.

Re: who needs shelter
If it were me, I would offer a ride to someone who would tent it by my RV.
They would not have a key (if I'm locking it, which would depend on my spidey-sense on the drive in).
They would be overloaded with info from me during transit.
Check the air quality before you go; it sucks out there right now.

Re: who needs shelter
It's probably better to advertise here for roommates rather than the other social media of unwashed virgins.
But to the OP, if you have not been to Black Rock City before, it might be better to have a roommate who has experienced several, more than 3 previous burns, and hopefully Juplaya or last year's Renegade 1.0. So your Reno BM & Juplaya farceboo are a place to look.
It is impossible to predict the dust this year. Strongly suggest you read the care and feeding tips and tricks for RV topics on ePlaya.
You are right in Reno so in the know, but check our Gerlach Tourist Bureau resource.
