It had to be done, and since I feel like the end result was a conscious decision, it makes no difference if the subconscious or unconscious played any role in influencing it.

When it comes down to it the conscious is what makes life interesing.

My conscious mind is in a baby booster seat with a toy stearing wheel. It insists that it is driving, but it is really just making a mess and lots of noise.

Conscious: making the most of what is in front of you and being fully aware of the experience.

Subconscious: having something beneath the surface prevent you from fully enjoying the experience as well as you would like to.

Unconscious: sleeping through the entire experience.

Sure the second and third are much more interesting to analyze and ponder. But you can' do either of them without the first.

Most of my drugs of choice in the past never gave me that problem, well for the most part.

But now, well unconsciousness is a conscious decision for me.
