Burning Man art

Post by BisbeeKat » Wed Nov 17, 2021 6:37 am

Call to Burning Man artists!

My name is Katie, and sad to say I am a Burning Man virgin. But I am a Slab City guest! I live in Bisbee, AZ...a funky little artsy town, for those who may not know.

Bisbee is full of random art that turn into off the beaten path tourist attractions. I've already created one with an epic Muck Rock mural, and I want to do many more!

I've spoken to Steve, the current East Jesus caretaker. He said a lot of the art installations are brought after Burning Man, but often they don't have the room for it...for now.

I'd like to talk to any artist interested in bringing their installations to Bisbee...whether it's a stopover on it's way to Slab City or it may be a final destination. Bisbee is great, but can be even better with more epic art. Email me [email protected] or text 509-863-8632

Welcome to eplaya BisbeeKat. This post will be seen by many of the artists of Burning Man. You and your spectacular art car are famous and of course you must make your way to Burning Man sooner than later. There is a camp where Chocolate Charlie camped many years back, and you, I'm sure would be a welcomed with warm hugs and many familiar people. Like the NIKE commercial says, Just Do It.

Hello BisbeeKat, welcome to ePlaya. Bisbee has my friends you likely know and friends of friends.

The world of Burning Man artists is many-vast over many years. We love art on ePlaya. But it might be more useful than here to send a note to the Burning Man Artery, the email is easily found. They can advise all the channels and social media channels to reach Burner artists.

It might be helpful to have in your pocket all the local-state-beyond art grant support opportunity specifics to bring art to Bisbee.

If you develop a relationship with the Artery and other municipal public art entities, you can learn their experiences promoting place by using artists.

Each individual artist is usually poor and is a small business balancing revenue and expense. Your job in public art is to make their revenue significantly exceed their expense on your project.
