Nap time
40 minutes from end of work for 3 days, and I'm looking for toothpicks to prop my eyes open.
Virtual sleep anyone?

Anybody besides yours truely enjoy those 1:30 PM catnaps where you just touch that place for brief seconds and come back totally refreshed? If I can do it three times in a row it is awesome. 30 Minutes or more of continuous afternoon slumber just makes me groggy.
Wow, this is old dude talk. "Nobody listens to me! Why is it so drafty all the time?!"

I'm completely incapable of them, sadly. It takes me a minimum of half an hour to fall asleep, and if I don't sleep for at least 2 hours once I'm there, I'm phuxx0red.Mister Jellyfish Mister wrote:Anybody besides yours truely enjoy those 1:30 PM catnaps where you just touch that place for brief seconds and come back totally refreshed?

Power naps do rock! I often take about 20-minute long power naps in my car on my lunch break. I just lean the seat all the way back, roll up a t-shirt and lay it over my eyes, then wait for the sandman. I always just automatically wake up within 20-30 minutes, feeling all refreshed and ready to take on the rest of the day.Donita wrote:Power naps rock. It's a most awesome feeling. I wonder why that is....Mister Jellyfish Mister wrote:Anybody besides yours truely enjoy those 1:30 PM catnaps where you just touch that place for brief seconds and come back totally refreshed?
...but it seemed like such a good idea at the time...

Excuse me, world, while I check out for a minute or twenty......(up late working, damn cat woke me up twice or thrice, bad-dream-wimpering child once, and that was right about the time the big trash truck was making its rounds in the shopping centers bordering my neighborhood! Fuck. I think I said that somewhere already.)
