If as you claim it has many tangible forms, then how can you say that it exists at all? However, I shall keep an open mind, as I would like to see it if you are, in fact, correct.

I remain doubtful about the existence of it at all.

Anyone care to join me in another Tecate?

Giggs, how likely is it that you would be wanting to take part in Helicon?

On a serious topic, I tried to explain the eplaya tonight to someone who should understand me better by now, but she didn't have a glimmer of understanding what I was talking about. I bet I am not alone in this kind of difficulty.

grinche-pooh doesn't understand the whole burning man thing at all. She thinks it's weird. When she sees me on eplaya she asks if I am talking to my "pretend internet friends" again. It hurts sometimes ... I let it pass. Not understanding is one thing, not even wanting to understand is something else. I have taken her to a few local events. She liked decompression 'cause she got a nice massage at Heebeegeebee's but didn't get "all that hugging and stuff" at a local gathering at someone's house. It actually made her pretty jealous because she wasn't getting any even though I introduced her to everyone I knew. I tried to explain that in order for that to happen she would have to actually stand up, walk over, and interact with people. Maybe I will keep trying, maybe there is a reason the horse still hasn't moved. That is the great mystery for 2005.

Damn getting set for my favorite meal of the year. I have created a Peruvian chicken dish with a tomato cilantro sauce. We are serving it with a side of baked potatoes and a red leaf lettuce salad. This is the meal that will start my year.

I've come across quite a few blank stares or obligatory smiles and nods in trying to talk about this here eplaya, mostly from those with a stake in my time and attention.

.....my nutty friend Missy Lipps, a girl with vision, did let me carry on about it and responded with empathetic enthusiasm, as did my friend Crazy Leslie Dancer.

Sweet dreams, buckethead! It's about time for me to hang it up too.

Oh, the old familiar sounds of the unwashed masses. I have the same problem, but mine is more serious at the time. May lead to a breakup. Who knows. Currently burning man is a bad word between us.

Oh well.

I'm in need of a vodka martini with a nice blue cheese olive or two.
