... Did you know that the squadron that shot down the most German planes during the Battle of Britain, the 303 was composed entirely of Polish pilots and led by a Canadian? Amazing tidbit of learning. Many more available on Youtube.

And later, what had the Germans usually turning tail and fleeing upon sight, were the red-tailed planes of the Tuskegee Airmen. Competence and effort. Just to make it clear you'd better clear off, red was used on other parts too.

And what's more, one of these fabled pilots even shot down a Me-262, the operational Getman jet fighter late in the war., These were truly amazing men.

I’ve been watching the frontline unedited (long running at any rate) interviews for The Putin Files, and then just random frontline longer format interviews. I also found a Japanese man quietly driving , then parking his homemade camper, cooking dinner, cleaning up, and getting ready for bed…no dialogue, just simple titles and a little music. “Tales along the way”. “ Winged Pegasus” , Fil, a guy who uses pitch software to analyze iconic vocal tracks, surprisingly fascinating.
