Sucks having to step away from the anarchist philosophy, even a little bit, but things will be a little different on this thread. Having been inspired by the "Page Two" thread and past, nearly if not, criminal attacks for non-violent logical dissent I present the following:
RULES:
Thou Shall use the Claim, Proof, Rebuttal, Socratic Method to forward your opinions and to attack other's.
Where applicable, proof will be supported with related links/pic/etc.
Faith/emotional arguments are discouraged and, though formal education about logical fallacies isn't required, knowing them will save getting your ass handed to you.
This is a call for RATIONAL and LOGICAL discussion. AGAIN! Ad hominem/personal attacks (flaming) will be removed.
Argument narrative (claims enumeration following)
Know that what is commonly mistaken for capitalism is actually dirigisme economic fascism. DE fascism has an illusion of a free market and property rights but both are so heavily regulated to negate any such right. Capitalism requires a free market and property rights to be capitalism.
In a capitalist society if I owned a piece of property in downtown SF and wanted to open Montanarchist's brothel/ saloon/ weed- bar/ long-pork BBQ joint* I would just build it, with my own hands, maybe sculpting giant penises on every corner, hang a sign out front and begin voluntary transactions with other individuals. In a DE fascist society I would have to get permits/ give bribes and beg for permission and most certainly get turned down. Even if I did bribe enough councilmen to get to build what I wanted, as soon as I tried selling a shot of my homemade absinthe, a joint, Jamaican jerked thigh*, or piece of ass I'd be thrown in jail. Property rights and free market?
I hate how it's become trendy to blame capitalism for problems caused by the government's intervention in every aspect of trade/ market/commerce. It's like city dudes pointing at a pig and saying "this damn cow sure doesn't give us much milk."
Claims with proof
1 The United States economic system is not capitalist.
A: Capitalism requires a free market.
Capitalism requires property rights
P: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capitalism
B: The US violates both Property Rights and Economic Freedom habitually
P: See examples in narritive. Individual case law examples can be provided upon formal request.
Author note: if/when all these points have been debated to concession I'll add the claims and proof for the US being a Fascist Corporatist Oligarchy.

Re: Capitalism READ RULES
Having long traversed the lands of The Mall, the Mall Ninja had truly tried to espouse capitalistic doctrine following The Way of The Mall. Such were his efforts that over the years, and continuing into what would normally be adulthood, the Mall Ninja had accumulated much MallNinjaShit (thereby taking up his capitalistic role in its delayed transfer to the dump). But not so much offerings were spent on bling as he was still able to save and acquire his first firearm. Thus the Mall Ninja self-promoted himself into the lowest tier (the MallNinjaShit didn't retain as much of its original value as he'd projected) of the ranks of the Trailer Trash Samurai. Although, somewhat strangely, he still carried a pouch of his childhood Lego everywhere he went (still trying to learn how to build a fort), which only added to the list of things impeding his childhood dream of being a hero to lost maidens (although it's never explained exactly how they would become lost and how he would help them, nor how he'd handle how angry they'd be that he'd got them lost).

That's one word I regret googling during breakfast.
.
Video games are giving kids unrealistic expectations on how many swords they can carry.
.
, but don't harm the red dragon that frequents the area from time to time. He and I have an agreement.

Sorry, you don't get to make the rules here. Quite right that mods are not here to enforce your rules, ours override yours. If you desire serious political discourse, this is not the venue for you.
