Maria Ovsyannikova, who ran out with an anti-war poster live on Channel One, will be defended in court by Belarusian Anton Gashinsky. Anton Gashinsky is a former Belarusian lawyer who lost his license in his homeland and received a new license in Russia.

This drone video, which appears to show Russian soldiers shooting an unarmed civilian with their hands up, is pretty damning.

According to the article, the car contained also a woman and child and the Russian troops led them out into the forest - they were not seen again. The car was towed away and burned. The man's body was dumped in a ditch.

I'm not sure a 'Moscow climbdown' is true. Who in Moscow is doing that. Compare to what is happening on the ground. Is this another delaying tactic by Russia, even a ceasefire would help hold their losses, while they try to improve their supply issues before they get stalled further or risk defeat, or a delay for a build up to a final push to take Ukraine. Recent noise by Russian news is why stop at Ukraine, take them then lets go for others, like Poland, etc..

The speed and extent of Moscow's climbdown is just head-spinning. Three weeks ago it called Ukraine a rightful Russian territory run by genocidal Nazis. Now it’s voluntarily offering the Sweden model – a Western ally in all but name – and getting told no! Incredible.
