Hello from Canada :)

Post by Harps103 » Fri Apr 08, 2022 3:00 pm

Hi everyone! I just heard about eplaya yesterday and wanted to introduce myself. I'm 33, near Toronto, and this will be my first time at Burning Man. I've wanted to attend for many years but my work schedule never allowed the time off. I've recently switched careers and can finally go this year! I already have my ticket but that's all I've done so far. I am currently a solo traveler hoping to connect before the event 😊

Welcome to ePlaya. There are a lot of experienced burners here and you can use google to search eplaya by using site:eplaya.burningman.org.

Eplaya has information on food, shelter/shade, bikes, vehicles & dust, packing lists, what's in your daypack, footwear, some costumes, generators & solar, evapotrons, and more.

Have you connected to your "Burning Man Regional?" There is one by you. There are people who travel overland from Toronto to the burn by car, and you can even travel to Reno by train.

Hello Hello from Canada,

Congrats on scoring tickets for your first burn! I run camp with about 400 or so members from all around the globe, somewhere around 40ish countries (we lost count). We defs have a few Canadians in the mix though!!

We are always looking to help new burners and possibly have them join up with our camp! Check us out at frothinweirdos.com

We'd love to give a hand anyway we can!

Cheers
