Then again... I came to work this morning and my security badge had been deactivated... they said that I didn't work here anymore... sooooo, why was I scheduled? I snuck in anyway... hopefully, it is just a glitch in the system, and not a new way of letting someone know that they're fired.

Yes... It's a Mayan/Druid/Vogan variation, with days of three hours each... I think... It's a major corporation; who knows what they are doing? Certainly not the people in middle management... Although the lack of a paycheck will suck, it will be good to breathe fresh, uncorrupted air again...

the pregnant boxer wanted to snuggle, so i am now awake for the day.
and no coffee in the house.

actually, it is a pretty good day.

actually i live with a woman, her two sons, 3 dogs (Boxer, Boxer, Mutt), 3 cats (male, female, female) and some guy i see in the mirror everyday.

Good morning! Four foot icicles outside my window and I refuse to shovel snow below those widow-makers. Good sense of community on my block yesterday with snow shovels, weak snow blowers, smiles and back-aches. They are saying it was the biggest snow storm in 15 years here and I'm grateful for it.
