Hello from Seattle

Post by rainydale » Mon May 16, 2022 1:00 pm

I am a long time admirer and new member of the community. I just attended Ignition in Tacoma and fell in love!

My main reason for joining is to be part of a community where nothing is expected, yet there such a strong culture of giving (and self reliance) that the community is more than self-sustaining. Burners have manifested the most exceptional community I have personally encountered, and I want to be a part of it!

I am a 40-something mom from Seattle. I am good at planning, logistics, cooking for a group, and planning/managing creative activities for kids. I have reliable transportation and am a reliable person in general. If you need someone like me in Seattle, please PM me!

Welcome, rainydale! :D

Seattle has a ton of Burners. (The whole West Coast does, but especially SEA, Portland and SF). Making local connections with real people can be great for joining a camp, arranging rideshares, or buying/selling tickets.

P.S. Friending people along your driving route can also be a good idea. Although people you can meet ahead of time are still, obviously, the best.

Hey there, welcome to ePlaya!
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
