Art installation “Pariṇāmanā” calling for experienced engineer & LED light technician & Transport coordinator

This is Tang Wu, greetings from Brooklyn! I’m a New York-based artist and I am bringing a Buddhism-inspired installation”Pariṇāmanā” to the playa this year. Parinamana is a 25-feet tall metal device and an interactive meditation chamber, it collects audio messages from humans, converts them into radio waves, and casts them into the space. This installation is a sci-fi interpretation of the Buddhist practice “Pariṇāmanā” (Hui Xiang, or 迴向): building cosmic connections between us and the boundless universe.

Our crew is mainly BIPOC and LGBTQI, and our goal is to spread loving energy towards burners and aliens. Right now we are looking for crews to join us, if you:
– Identify as BIPOC, LGBTQI, or allies
– are a radio frequency specialist who is thrilled about potential intraterrestrial communication
– are an experienced Engineer who built on playa before and wants to contribute to our cause to send human love to the aliens
– are an experienced transportation coordinator who has experience bringing installation to playa
– are skilled in LED lights and interested to make our installation the coolest shining star
– are aliens and need to contact your home planet
