Stars so bright you can almost reach up and grab em? Sunshine and blue skies? I did apply for a job in Seattle a few months ago but it didn't happen. I'm waiting for something to open at Lassen NP. Or with the Forest Service in Northern Cali or Reno/Tahoe. Who knows?
How about Space Needle National Park? They have a great little roller coaster there...

Or the popcorn concession?

Hard to say not knowing. Currently it is raining at my house at 2240', snowing at 4000', probably about 37 degrees or so. It's been snowing and raining for the last week, probably through the weekend. I have Mon-Fri off next week but I will be in and out of the Park the whole time. I have a incredible photography project happening next week. It could easily get back to the 60's and 70's (heli crosses fingers) after this weekend.

Well, here are the likely places for Heli to transfer to:
Olympic, San Juan, E-bay's Landing (do I have that right?), Mt. Rainier
The road to Paradise opens each day
, North Cascades, Ross Lake, and Lake Chelan.

Of course he may like the desert. or there may be no open positions.

*Tall dark stranger walks into the bar with a bag in his hand. He walks to the bar and empties the contents: a variety of cheeses, a cutting board, and a knife. He then ducks behind the bar and descends into the cellar. After rumaging around for a while, he ascends the ridiculously steep stairway holding several bottles of wine in his long arms. He places them on the bar, produces a cork puller, and begins opening bottles. He lines up some wine glasses, and then begins cutting the cheese (NO, ROB! Not that way). Soon he has the cheeses all laid out.... He walks around from behind the bar and, pouring himself some chianti, picks up several slices of monterey jack*

Okay, everyone.... wine and cheese time

Rian: Yes you do... and I swabbed it out just so you could...

Fishy: Okay... lactose intolerant? Sorry, I couldn't find any soy or goat cheeses.

Heli: You are disgusting, but (Rumages around in the bottom of the bag) Cheeze Whiz okay with you?

Saltines? I prefer oyster crackers.

* fishy digs into the cuboards and pulls out 1/2 bag saltines and some soggy graham crackers. She artfully arranges them on tish's spectacular japenese serving plate.*

I hope the saltines haven't got that stale soapy taste.

I just don't like cheese very much. It's okay melted and a little bit of blue or goat makes salads palitable. Magic that. But it's a secret I don't like cheese. It makes me sound so retro. Shhhhh.
