You must call [(866) 386-7829 or (866) FUN-STAY] and ask for BARBIE22. We have taken down several floors of rooms and each room has two queen beds and sleeps 4 (12 if you're sponsoring the orgy). The Sands Regency has a free sauna, large 15-person jacuzzi, and steam bath with ice machines on every floor, large outdoor swimming pool, and ample free parking. There is even covered free parking you can use for the duration of the week if you're carpooling to the playa. There is also a free shuttle to and from the airport and the Sand Regency is five short blocks from the Amtrak Station.

The years I haven’t gone, it’s been nice to see folks before and after at the Sands. Pro tip: bring a sweater if you meet folks at the buffet. Frigid.

Omg! The price has gone up sooo much. Used to be $35 a night the week before gates open for us WAP pass holders.

I just called to make a reservation and the burner price was actually higher than the standard price. They also only offered the discounted rate (which, again, was higher than the standard rate) for the premium rooms. They said it was because the prices fluctuate and the burner price was probably set when the price was higher.

I ended up booking a standard room with my AAA discount (10% off) for $80.86 including taxes and fees. I'd suggest asking for the standard rate and AAA discounted rate (if you have AAA) is before checking on the burner price to make sure you get the best deal offered at that time.

<bump> I would always suggest looking at every angle. And if you're a member of Autoslash (autoslash.com) they now have Hotelslash (and free to join for a limited time to Autoslash members) and that might even be better. I have not compared and contrasted the rates, but it's worth a try. One thing I am fairly confident of: If you're renting a car/truck/van and have not at least investigated autoslash.com, you're likely missing out.
