The Burning Man Org has busted some 2022 Concierge camps:



On the Burning Man FB, their placement, WAPs, MV applications are being revoked.

PLEASE replace voided tickets with new and put into STEP.

Another option.

Issue replacement tickets. Hold at gate. Gift some poor smuck who got scammed with a ticket. Have him/her pay it forward.
Borg got the money for the voided tickets. As gifting is a principle, lets see the BORG do this gifting.

Doubt they are voiding tickets. There are camps asking for more WAPs.

They will arrive at gate on Sunday morning in the big line with the plebeians, have to find a place, build their camp in who knows how long, and get word to their campers on how to find them.

Any outside services they have will have to come in late and be guided to their unplaced location.

This is really great sleuthing by the Burning Man departments.

Camp names are pretty made up and anonymous. But wild ass guess they will be inspected thoroughly this year wherever they land unplaced.

The BORG knows all. This is a perfectly crafted response to deliver pain to the organizers and maybe their paid campers who arrive at the beginning of the week will be asking difficult questions.

I saw one camp with multiple new aluminized shift pods all lined up in neat rows, and they brought in two roll-off dumpsters. I did not get the name.
