I learned that the person I thought I knew the best was someone I didn't know at all.
I learned that friendships end.
I learned that I actually have a threshold for the amount of abuse I'm willing to accept.
I learned that Burning Man means a great deal to me.

I learned (or rather re-learned) that it is better to have loved and lost, rather than never to have loved at all.

Corollary: I learned that losing love and getting over it is really painful and sucks real bad, but overall, I still believe that the joy and exhileration of the love we shared at the beginning was worth all the pain at the end.
...but it seemed like such a good idea at the time...

That people at the event get worse, More don't read the survival guide! too many are tourists, they can't take heat! or pick up the moop, don't listen to the radio during exodus and get into long lines that take half a day to leave!

That the green pavillon was well you know!

That missing this year was no big deal and perhaps a good thing

That its not a good idea to fall asleep on the concourse at Atlanta airport, therefore giving someone the chance to take your bag which has your money, wallet, cell, digital camera and credit cards in it. So you get stranded for an extra day trying to sort it all out.

At least I had my passport in my pocket!

I learned a very valuable lesson. You cannot TRY to make things better for one persons burn, they must do it themselves.Radical self reliance.

I was tooo overly scheduled.(no more schedules on playa)

That having a Theme camp...was a fucking BLAST! and we will be BACK!
Full throttle!
